CE hours offered to social workers

AASSWB is sponsoring a continuing education workshop on professional boundaries in conjunction with its Spring Education meeting. The workshop, by nationally-recognized presenter Marilyn Peterson, LICSW, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 1999, at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On Friday only, the meeting will be open to all social workers as well as those attending the spring meeting. On Saturday, May 1, the association will continue with topics especially for members of state social work regulatory boards.

The cost is $100 for early registration, and $120 for registration received after April 2. Lunch and breaks are included. Six hours of continuing education credit is offered for the day. Continuing education hours have been approved by the Minnesota Board of Social Work and by the AASSWB Approved Continuing Education program. Jurisdictions that accept the ACE endorsement are Alaska, Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode island, South Carolina, Texas, Virgin Islands, and Wyoming.
